I am taking English 111 for my second time, the first time I took this class I wasn’t successful in completing the course. This time around I have prioritized my lifestyle so that I can finish this class. Now that I have reviewed the syllabus I can narrow down the things I’m going to need to do and work on in order to excel in this class.
The first time I took this class I couldn’t keep up with it because I had just moved to Sand Point and was working full time and chose not to worry about my on-line classes. I was more worried about my job and my social life that I put school last; I ended up not completing any of my courses. I thought that I could handle it all, but obviously it didn’t pan out that way. So here I am for round two in completing this course.
This time around I currently am not working, I quit my job and now I’m looking for a job that is part time and can fit my lifestyle and priorities. In a small town jobs are hard to come by, so I just recently put my name in at the school as a substitute so I can make a few buck here and there. Seeing as helping out at the school isn’t to stressful or time consuming I can focus on my own education. This semester I have chosen to only take one class to get me back into the swing of on-line education.
Taking this class I know I will have to work hard, because English is one of my weaker subjects. I know that I like to procrastinate and leave everything for last minute, example this essay. This is going to be one characteristic that I am going to need to work on in order to complete this class successfully. As long as I study and give this class everything I got I believe I will do great in this class.
All and all I know what I am up against right now, and I know what I need to do in order to finish course. I am looking forward to this semester and am willing to do what it takes to finish this course. I just need to stay focused and keep myself motivated, and we should have a great successful semester.

Introduction
Hey! My name is Trisha Trumble and I am currently living in Sand Point, Alaska where my boyfriend commercial fishes year round. My hometown is King Cove, Alaska, which is about 80 miles from Sand Point. This is my second attempt on this course, the first time I tried it I got side tracked with work and wasn't able to finish the course. Now that I'm not working, I decided to take this class to keep me busy. I enjoy sports; basketball and football are my favorite. On my free time I like to exercise, be outdoors whether it is a bike ride or a skiff ride that is when the weather is nice. You’re most likely to find me hanging out with friends, watching TV, cooking, or on the computer.
